We had a great story published on the Evo-stik website last week and a similar story published in yesterday’s Non League Paper, see http://evostikleague.pitchero.com/royals-answer-charity-call-11298/

What I really like about this is how it shows how effective the KitAid model is. It started with a request for help from the secretary of Sutton Coldfield FC, we then passed it on to Football Gambia, they checked the guys out to make sure the kit request was relevant and they donated some kit we had sent over. Quite amazing how we can make this happen from just a couple of emails. I think we have impressed SCFC as they are now going to arrange a bigger kit collection, and Helen is on the doorstep, so even better!

We have also had a couple of great responses in from kit donations and I really love it when we get feedback such as the following

"Almost all the 140 children in our school will have a football jersey from KitAid. We have become a football powerhouse in the Junior categories in the district as a result of your support. We should maybe change our name to KitAid Academy Uganda. The children love their shirts like the QUEEN loves England"
Paul Natuhumuriza – Uganda

"Your continued support has delivered our boys from being in elicit activities such as drugs and alcohol in our community. Some of our players have never used boots in their lives. It is our desire that your continued support shall help some of our boys to play in their dream clubs in Europe."
Mr Kashimoto – Ex Zambian football international.

This is what makes all of our efforts so worthwhile, and what a lovely end to this monthly update.
